Due to pending unitary within Northamptonshire, ideal opportunity to work with neighbouring authorities to digitalise services for better use of resources and to provide better service to public, one area in particular will be the One stop shop/customer service team and how we operate this is in the future, there could be significant savings in channel shift from face to face to digital channels where customers could self serve at home rather than visiting offices, this information would be sent electronically and in some instances would not need any human intervention, ensuring a better service for customers and to meet their expectations.
