South West Hertfordshire identified an opportunity to improve their current process which,prior to Round 2, entailed the 5 LPAs that made up the joint strategic project approaching consultations in various ways.

Taking a holistic approach to innovation across all 5 Local Authorities, South West Hertfordshire collaborated with suppliers Bang the Table, Built-ID, Penknife and Iceni Projects to increase engagement with hard-to-reach groups. 

The project aimed to establish a two way dialogue, which will be used to underpin the emerging Joint Strategic Plan (JSP). Using quick fire polls and focussed use of social media the interactive consultation document includes videos and graphics to increase reach and diversity of engagement.
