Using digital to support the delivery of services and enhance environment

Through this pilot Runnymede Borough Council aimed to help the council understand the role that digital engagement could play in a wide range of customer consultations. Through taking a digital engagement approach in which the council developed a survey hosted on Built-ID’s ‘Give My View’ platform the council hoped to reach the vulnerable those who have been and remain hard-to-reach. To support with this, 

To support this, the project team used targeted social media advertising to focus their engagement on local residents and gain further understanding of their local community and plan improvements. 

The pilot built on the recent success of the launch of the council’s Engagement Strategy and the appointment of a dedicated Engagement Officer. The council was very pleased with the reach of the survey with 5172 individuals accessing the platform and 11,248 questions answered.
