Stevenage Borough Council partnered with Novoville to develop a digital platform that would better connect with their local community, council officers and elected representatives as part of their Co-operative Neighbourhoods Programme. Users were able to feed into engagement on neighbourhood plans across six areas.
Their live chat platform used natural language processing to gather and process responses and a dashboard enabled in-depth analysis and improved gathering of demographic information.
The adoption of these digital tools in collaboration with hybrid engagement resulted in significant improvements in community involvement and resource efficiency.
