Leicester City Council completed the third stage of their community engagement for the proposed regeneration of the Stocking Farm Neighbourhood Centre.
The council partnered with Deetu to engage with the local community to explore opportunities and shape their vision to bring unused land and property back into use, improve life for local residents and help kickstart regeneration. They built on the success on stage one and stage two of public consultations with the third stage utilising a broader engagement approach for residents which included an updated and more interactive online website.
The funding also enabled further youth engagement, through the creation of a Digital Classroom Toolkit designed for local secondary students.
