There are a multitude of web based systems that can provide access for residents to distinct sections of data that we hold about them, many of which support some kind of SSO technology and some of which enable customers to allow or revoke data processing rights in line with GDPR. However, many of these systems work in isolation of each other and as such do not share data between them. We would like to investigate what would be required and how we could go about extending an SSO identity provider to enable the sharing of GDPR processing rights and other common data between system alongside traditional login authorisation.
