Plymouth City Council
With our ambitious Plymouth and South West Devon Joint Local Plan nearing adoption, we are seeking a digital solution to support monitoring and delivery in an open, intuitive and integrated manner. This solution is essential to ensure the collective management of housing delivery across three authorities.
We do not currently have the ability to centrally monitor delivery and provide citizens, elected members, developers etc. with accessible and up-to-date information on progress. The current process is predominantly manual, highly inefficient and does not provide the public benefits we feel are achievable. We will be working with our partners South Hams and West Devon and expect other authorities with joint plans to benefit from this solution.
Our ambition is to develop a cloud based interactive monitoring tool, where policies, site information and up to date figures are published. This phase of discovery will include exploring cross council information sharing solutions, a problem we have faced throughout the entire joint working process and one we are eager to solve.
We anticipate costs for this phase to be £25,000 in addition to our time. Training support will be invaluable to help deliver a joint project.
