In 2018 Dorset Councils Partnership won the Federation of Small Businesses 2018 award for ‘Most Innovative Small Business Friendly Programme, Campaign or Project.’

The project that won was the Google Digital Garage initiative, driven by the Partnerships digital and economy teams. 

Supporting local business is one of our top priorities as a Partnership and a focus that we will carry in to the new authority, we want to build on this work and support the appetite for digital learning for SME’s. We would like to take this further and work with partners to design a structured programme to deliver targeted support and training, particularly given the rural areas that we cover.
