Buckinghamshire County Council
Most council intranets have not been designed to meet the needs of their users. Their features are increasingly blurred between canonical sources of content and a social platform for staff.
With the rise of enterprise social networks (ESN) and AI-driven chatbots, what is the role of a traditional intranet in a 21st Century Council? What are the benefits of a carefully managed content publishing tool and how does this fit with the social networking models of sharing, collaboration and self-publishing? We need to better understand the needs of our users so that we’re not led by the technology.
Research has not started and there is not a team in place. This project will do the research to understand user and organisational needs (staff, management and communications teams).
