Modern Planning Software Programme EOIs

We are seeking expressions of interest from local authorities to improve digital planning software

Please note that the Expressions of Interest closed on 26 November 2021.

The Department for Levelling Up, and Housing Communities (DLUHC) is seeking Expressions of Interest from councils who want to improve their planning software, so that it supports the vision set out in the Planning for the Future White Paper.

New partner councils should be committed to a vision for planning software that is accessible, interoperable, and facilitates the effective use of data to improve the efficiency and transparency of planning services.

Councils are invited to submit applications under one of two Expressions of Interest:
